Time: Monday July 12, 15:30 EDT (Eastern Daylight Time)

Trying to figure out meaningful online activities? What about activities in the classroom (given the current constraints)? This could be the session you need. Teachers will leave with a clear understanding of how to adapt or design meaningful music activities that fit into both the virtual and in-person format. Immediately usable lesson examples and pre-planned activities will be presented to address specific music standards. Commonly taught concepts are embedded in each lesson, and ideas for format adaptation will be discussed.

During this session:

-Teachers will learn how to adapt or design lessons to be effective for remote, in-person, or hybrid teaching situations.

-Teachers will be introduced to song collections, classroom resources, and innovative resources for teaching general music including interactive slides.
