Chad Lemons

Chad Lemons has been working in the St. Vrain Valley School District in Colorado since 2010. He strives to inspire his students to find a passion for music through an inclusive and meaningful music education. His experience includes middle and high school band, middle school choir, and he is currently teaching general music at Mead Elementary. At Mead HS and Longs Peak MS, Mr. Lemons received the school "Teacher of the Year' award through nominations to the St. Vrain Valley Schools Education Foundation. While at Mead High School, Mr. Lemons created a performance-based ensemble for students with intellectual disabilities. He has presented about inclusion in the music classroom at the Colorado Music Educators Association Conference (2023) and the International Music Education Summit (2022). Chad is a member of the Colorado Music Educators Association, National Association for Music Education, Pi Kappa Lambda, Phi Beta Mu, and Phi Mu Alpha.
