Danielle Bayert

 

Danielle Bayert has been teaching music in Jeffco since the fall of 2005 and began at Kendrick Lakes in fall of 2006. She is originally from Wyoming and came to Colorado in 2001. She holds an Associates of Arts in Woodwind Performance (Casper College), a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education (Metro State University), and a Master’s Degree in Music Education (University of Colorado Boulder). Ms. Bayert plays tenor saxophone, flute, clarinet, ukulele and piano. She also enjoys studying with master teachers and writing music curriculum, and has authored several music curriculum resources published by the Alfred Music Company. Ms. Bayert strives to make her classroom into an educational, fun, and interactive place, with use of centers and manipulatives. Children sing, play instruments, dance, move, read music, create, listen and study music history. In her personal life, Ms. Bayert has a husband, daughter, and three dogs. Her passions include parenting, playing music, knitting, crocheting, gardening, and spending time with her family.
