Gabe Herman, Assistant Professor of Music Industry at the Hartt School, The University of Hartford, will show you some of the various recording techniques for choir ensembles, as well as discuss the types of microphones that are most often used for recording, demonstrate some non-sophisticated technology that you can use in your classroom or recital hall, and give a live demonstration of where to put the microphones in order to create life-like and compelling stereo recordings.
