I'd Like to Teach the World a Song

In this session, participants will be provided with multiple methods and ideas for teaching developing singers a choral song. Composer, arranger and teacher, Cristi Cary Miller has spent the past 40 years in the music classroom and collected these creative techniques from working with varying ages of students. During this workshop, participants will be involved in listening, singing and moving as they experience the ideas presented and will find them to be useful in both a virtual and in-class setting.

In this session, Crisiti will:

1. Provide different techniques for teaching a song that can be used in both a virtual and in-class setting.

2. Involve participants through moving, singing and listening in the process of the presentation.

3. Provide resource ideas for using the techniques and ideas presented.
