Timothy Simmons

Timothy Simmons is the Music teacher at Delaware Valley Friends School in Paoli, PA, a school for students grades 1-12 with learning differences such as Dyslexia or ADHD. As the music teacher for all grades, Tim brings a blended experience of spending almost 30 years as both a reading teacher and a music teacher. Tim’s graduate study focused on the neurologic intersections between music and language, and through that, he developed a music curriculum for adolescents with Dyslexia. Tim is also the author of the multimedia children’s book about music improvisation, Serafine Finds a Song.
