Planning for an Entire Year of General Music (Without Loosing Your Mind)

Planning and preparing for general music can be daunting, time consuming and exhausting. If we can plan ahead for the entire year while leaving space for flexibility and new ideas, we can spend more of our time focused on the the most important part of teaching music; our tiny musicians. While this may seem like an enormous undertaking, broken down into chunks you will be ready for the year without loosing your mind.

In this session, participants will:

• Learn how to plan for the whole year in manageable steps.

• Model a new way of planning lessons and meeting objectives.

• Create a plan to cover required standards/content efficiently and effectively.
