Nicole Laborte
Nicole Laborte - Choir/Orchestra Director, Enumclaw School District
Nicole Laborte currently completed her sixth year of teaching at Enumclaw MS, and third year of teaching at Enumclaw HS. At the middle school level, Nicole taught the choral and orchestral ensembles. At the high school, she served as the orchestra director. Under her direction, her ensembles received Superior ratings at large group regional festivals and solo and ensemble contests.
Prior to her work in Enumclaw, Nicole graduated from Pacific Lutheran University in December 2014 with a Bachelor of Music Education. In the summer of 2018, Nicole began pursuing a Master of Science in Educational Technology through the University of North Texas. She graduated the program with Summa Cum Laude honors in May 2020. Much of her UNT coursework was designed to marry her passions for music education and technology together, to create relevant and research-based blended learning environments and curriculum to better enhance and differentiate traditional music ensemble instruction.
In Fall 2021, Nicole will begin work on her PhD in Music Education at UNT.
