Web-Based Pedagogy: Methods for Distance Teaching

In this session, we will look at concrete pedagogical methods and solutions for working in an online learning environment. Specific topics include: Meaningful communication in a web-based context, latency, developing a beautiful tone, effective use of the teaching segment, layered teaching, and process analysis. At the end of the session, participants will be equipped with multiple teaching tools unique to the online teaching environment.
